COMPLIMENT YOUR WINE TOUR WEEKEND
20 METER TRAINING & MEGA DROP 60 METER CLIFF
HALF DAY HUNTER VALLEY ABSEILING ADVENTURE
Do you want to step out of your comfort zone?
We can help you
Are you looking for things you and your friends can do? Maybe your group is wanting to add extra excitement into your visit to the Hunter Valley Wine Country?
Firstly, our Hunter Valley Abseiling Adventure is one of the few activities that we can operate every day of the year. We only ask that you dress for the prevailing weather, wear a pair of running shoes, and bring your camera.
Secondly, we have programmed our half-day abseiling adventure specifically for visitors to the Hunter Valley wine-growing region, although anyone is welcome to participate.
Our Half-day Hunter Valley Abseiling Adventure departs from the Polkolbon visitor centre at 8 am and returns at Midday. We are allowing you plenty of time for visiting the wineries in the afternoon.
Additionally, we can pick people up directly from their accommodation, but this is before the 8.00 am start and at a small extra cost. Contact us to arrange.
THE MEGA DROP
Looking at the views is fantastic, however abseiling from them is even better.
The Mega Drop Ciff is the highest commercially available abseiling cliff outside of the Blue Mountains;
Walking Rivers has both insurance and a licence to commercially operate on it.
You will start with our compulsory training wall, 20 meters and a comfortable launch area. We are allowing you to build confidence and develop the skills required to tackle the Mega Drop.
After morning tea it’s time to tackle the Mega drop, 60 meters of adrenaline-pumping fun. The memories of achieving a challenge like the mega wall are both life-changing and lifelong.
You will notice as you take the easy walk back to the clifftops where the bus is situated. The opportunity to explore some caves and study the intricate formations wind has carved into the rock will present itself.
Not scheduled at a time you want to go, please contact us, we will try to accommodate your time frame.
