No, Walking Rivers welcomes adventurers of many ages. We prefer younger participants to be at least 10 years old. Older participants are also very welcome and encouraged to contact us to discuss suitability and fitness levels.

We cater for a wide range of dietary needs on all our adventure trips.Before the trip begins, you will complete a pre-trip questionnaire covering medical and dietary requirements so we can prepare appropriate meals. Yes. If you wear glasses, we recommend using a sports strap to keep them secure while moving around the cliffs. Because of the nature of outdoor adventure activities, we cannot guarantee the safety of personal items. If you rely on your glasses, bring a spare pair. Sunglasses with a retaining strap are also a good idea during sunny conditions.
All participants on our gided abseiling trips must complete a medical questionnaire before the adventure begins. Very few medical conditions prevent people from participating in abseiling. However, our guides must know about any relevant conditions in case they need to provide assistance. For safety reasons, we do not permit pregnant participants to take part in abseiling activities..
